Salesforce determines eligibility and grants the donated licenses through its Power of Us Program. We can guide the way.
What Salesforce powers
Salesforce gives daily users a clear place to manage the work while connecting the people, programs, gifts, activities, and outcomes behind the mission. The same trusted data gives leaders and boards a clearer view of performance—and helps donors and funders see the outcomes their support makes possible.
See each donor's history, manage gifts and campaigns, track important follow-up, and keep acknowledgements moving.
Manage intake, enrollment, services, attendance, milestones, and outcomes in one place.
Track interests, skills, availability, assignments, shifts, hours, and volunteer communication.
Organize households, participants, members, referrals, events, and the communications around them.
Track funders, applications, deadlines, deliverables, partner relationships, and required reporting.
Give leaders and boards trusted views of fundraising, program reach, capacity, volunteer activity, and outcomes.
What connects it all
A donor may also be a volunteer, board member, parent, partner, or program participant. Salesforce keeps those relationships connected so your team does not have to maintain the same person in five different spreadsheets.

Who Does What?
Free software is not the same thing as a working CRM. We help you choose a sensible first version, configure the essentials, and avoid paying for complexity your team does not need. You'll be able to keep building on this foundation for years to come.

A sensible launch path
Step 01
We help you understand the Power of Us requirements and prepare for a clean start. Salesforce reviews eligibility and grants the donation.
Step 02
We map the people, programs, fundraising, service, or reporting workflows that matter now—and leave the rest for later.
Step 03
We configure the basics, move agreed priority data, test with your team, and leave administrators with a system they understand.
Basic setup
“Basic” does not mean generic. It means agreeing on the smallest combination of data, process, access, and reporting that your team can use confidently.
Give the right people access without making every user an administrator.
Organize donors, volunteers, participants, partners, households, and funders around real relationships.
Track applications, enrollment, service delivery, milestones, or outcomes without forcing a generic process.
Bring over the spreadsheets and records the team actually needs for day one, with a review step before launch.
Add only the reminders, routing, notifications, and handoffs that remove friction in everyday workflows.
Start with a small set of trusted views for activity, capacity, fundraising, programs, and outcomes.

Straight answers
No. Salesforce determines eligibility and approves the Power of Us donation. Eligible organizations can request 10 donated Agentforce Nonprofit Cloud – Enterprise Edition licenses. That being said, we've had a 100% success rate for the last 8 years.
No. Salesforce provides the donated licenses through the Power of Us Program and makes the approval decision. Lodestone can guide you through the application process. Once approved, we help you choose a sensible starting point and turn the Salesforce org into a useful system.
The license donation and the implementation are separate. Lodestone offers discounted services for qualifying nonprofits, with a clear scope and price agreed before work begins. Each year, we also select several nonprofits to receive pro bono implementation services through our Pledge 1% commitment.
We start by assessing what you already have. An existing NPSP or Salesforce org may need cleanup, support, or a gradual improvement plan—not a forced migration or a rebuild.
No. A focused first version is usually safer and easier to adopt. We begin with the smallest set of workflows and reports that can make a real difference, then expand when the team is ready.
A practical first conversation
We will help separate the must-haves from the nice-to-haves, explain the likely setup path, and make the nonprofit discount clear before work starts.
