Manufacturing & Industrial

Proven Industries

A Shopify-to-Salesforce commerce sync with maps, dialer, and support runway.

Proven Industries needed Salesforce to connect commerce activity with Shopify customers, companies, orders, products, maps, dialer, and future customer-service workflows.

Operating challenge

The original integration work had to absorb real commerce complexity: Shopify customer and company records, one-way versus two-way sync decisions, product and order endpoints, error logs, user adoption, and a possible future move from Gorgias into Salesforce support.

What Lodestone shaped

  • Delivered Sales Cloud setup around users, data migration, web-to-lead, activity capture, sharing, record types, fields, layouts, reports, dashboards, and quote or invoice templates.
  • Built the Shopify API integration plan around OAuth, token management, scheduled batches, object mapping, customer/order/product endpoints, and integration error logs.
  • Added Salesforce Maps and Dialer setup while working through customer/company sync changes that surfaced after the original scope.

Resulting direction

  • The Shopify-to-Salesforce operating model became clearer across customers, companies, orders, products, and error handling.
  • Salesforce could support more of the sales and commerce motion without ignoring future service-team needs.
  • Scope changes around sync behavior were handled as business-process decisions, not just technical defects.
