Nienmade/Richfield
A Consumer Goods Cloud rollout for field retail execution.
Richfield needed Salesforce to support a distributed retail execution motion across store visits, rep routing, product visibility, Home Depot sales data, and manager follow-up.

Operating challenge
The project was not a generic CRM rollout. Sales reps, supervisors, and managers needed mobile access to visits, routes, products, store locations, order activity, visit compliance, sales volume, mileage, and exceptions across a retail channel with real field movement.
What Lodestone shaped
- Configured Consumer Goods Cloud roles, objects, routing rules, permissions, visits, routes, and product access for mobile users.
- Scoped Salesforce Mobile, Salesforce Maps, GPS check-in/check-out, live location layers, cluster-based calendars, surveys, order placement, and missed-visit handling.
- Planned Home Depot EDI sales data capture, dashboards, alerts, testing, documentation, deployment, and recorded training for 60-65 users.
Resulting direction
- Retail execution could be managed around visits, routes, store activity, and product movement instead of scattered field updates.
- Supervisors and managers gained clearer escalation paths for overdue visits, missed orders, out-of-cluster travel, and no-response situations.
- Sales volume, visit compliance, order volume, mileage, and rep activity could become reportable operating signals inside Salesforce.
