Mongo Attachments

A Sage connector refined around orders, serial numbers, and shipping visibility.

Mongo needed the Salesforce/Sage connector to support equipment order flow without forcing teams to double-enter orders when sync issues appeared.

Operating challenge

Sync downtime had pushed order-entry users into manual work across both Sage and Salesforce. The connector also needed better handling for product availability, receivable details, shipping records, serial numbers, scheduled syncs, and readable integration errors.

What Lodestone shaped

  • Enhanced the connector around products, orders, receivables, shipping, inventory quantities, committed/backordered values, tracking, carrier, weight, and comments.
  • Supported manual and scheduled sync testing, including a recurring sync cadence and validation against real order and receivable scenarios.
  • Added integration-log visibility with order and receivable references so users could understand errors such as existing Sage orders, invalid account numbers, or driver failures.

Resulting direction

  • The team had a stronger route to reduce double entry and raise confidence in sync success.
  • Salesforce could show more useful product, order, receivable, and shipping context for equipment sales and fulfillment.
  • Troubleshooting moved closer to the business process because errors were visible on related Salesforce records.
