Imperial Packaging

A staged Agentforce roadmap for faster supplier sourcing and cleaner back-office handoffs.

Imperial Packaging needed a practical Salesforce path for sales reps sourcing bottles, jars, caps, closures, and packaging options across a large supplier network while keeping QuickBooks, OneDrive, Redwood, and future Spiff work in view.

Operating challenge

Sales teams were relying on tribal knowledge, emails, supplier websites, OneDrive files, and QuickBooks visibility to respond to quote requests. Leadership wanted reps to source faster across hundreds of suppliers without creating a brittle AI setup, noisy consumption costs, or a finance process that accounting could not trust.

What Lodestone shaped

  • Established the Enterprise Edition and Sales Cloud health-check path so Agentforce could be grounded in the current org before expanding to supplier and document data.
  • Configured the Agentforce baseline and email activity capture while identifying Salesforce data-model issues, including how the team used account types for prospects instead of a cleaner lead model.
  • Staged the roadmap for AI-assisted supplier sourcing, OneDrive/catalog ingestion, optional Redwood inventory visibility, QuickBooks integration, and Spiff incentive automation as coordinated phases rather than one overloaded launch.

Resulting direction

  • The engagement clarified that the highest-value business case was sales-rep speed: finding viable packaging options faster so more quotes could move out the door.
  • Leadership gained a clearer path for bringing supplier, catalog, and inventory data into Salesforce in a way that could scale as suppliers and product data change.
  • Back-office needs around QuickBooks control and Spiff compensation automation stayed connected to the roadmap without distracting from the immediate sales enablement mission.
