Haselton Lumber
Sales Cloud and commission planning for a lumber business leaving legacy process behind.
Haselton Lumber needed Salesforce to become a single source of truth for sales activity, account history, lead capture, documents, reporting, and future commission management.

Operating challenge
The team was working through inefficient systems, manual lead and account tracking, limited scalability, and an offramp from legacy systems like Epicor. Later work added Spiff commission planning tied to Salesforce data and payout logic.
What Lodestone shaped
- Implemented Sales Cloud around web-to-lead capture, user setup, email/calendar sync, account/contact migration, reporting, dashboards, and training.
- Customized labels, record types, assignment rules, flows, validation rules, fields, page layouts, list views, and document-oriented processes around Haselton's language.
- Scoped Spiff integration with Salesforce, including commission strategy, three plan setups, test variables, tiered logic, resets, claw-back exemptions, validation, and real-time calculations.
Resulting direction
- Sales and leadership gained a clearer source of truth for relationship history, sales process, account activity, and documents.
- The Epicor offramp became a phased Salesforce operating model instead of a loose data-migration idea.
- Commission management could be planned around Salesforce data rather than spreadsheet-only payout logic.
