Depco Products
A Sage and Salesforce order-sync program for practical order entry.
Depco needed Salesforce and Sage to work together across sales orders, item lines, shipping, invoicing, backorders, and reporting without creating duplicate order work.

Operating challenge
The team needed two-way sync patterns that respected ready-to-sync behavior, Sage as the system of record after initial order creation, duplicate-line risk, backorder visibility, and the reality that order-entry staff and sales reps could not keep rekeying the same work.
What Lodestone shaped
- Mapped product, sales-order, item-line, lot/serial, shipping, tracking, billing, FOB, expiration, and warehouse fields between Sage and Salesforce.
- Separated first-time Salesforce-to-Sage order creation from later Sage-to-Salesforce updates so existing Sage orders were not overwritten by accident.
- Framed future phases around historical Salesforce cleanup, reporting, website work, Commerce Cloud, accounting, invoicing, and inventory modules as a gradual Sage offramp.
Resulting direction
- Order-entry and sales teams gained a clearer path to create and review orders in Salesforce while preserving Sage control where it mattered.
- Inventory, backorder, shipping, and serial-number data could become more visible without asking users to chase multiple systems.
- Leadership got a phased integration roadmap rather than a single high-risk replacement effort.
